Patrick Maher - President Mr. Maher has over 20 years experience managing growth-phase companies. He was a founding partner in Spinnaker Health, an outsourced nurse triage call center, as well as having held management positions in marketing and development with companies such as Aetna, Salu, and Access Health. He holds a masters degree in Applied Economics from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Tulsa.
Kory Solkey – Director, Medical Transcription Operations
Ms. Solkey has over 25-years experience supporting day-to-day operations in both the medical community and higher education. Her career started as a health insurance specialist, transitioned to clinic administration and just prior to joining Eight Crossings, Ms. Solkey was hired post-9/11 to develop and run an International student screening system for a major university based in the Northwest. Her experience in organizing people and balancing deadlines significantly contributes to her expertise in managing a network of transcriptionists working 24x7x365
Darcy Johnson - Director, Transcription QA
Ms. Johnson has over 20 years of management and medical transcription experience. Her career started with 10 years as a budget analyst with the Department of Defense, US Navy, before transitioning to acute care transcription and freelance editing work for Stedman’s. She currently manages all three phases of quality assurance for Eight Crossings; training, real-time QA, post-release QA audits. She holds a bachelors degree from California Polytechnic State University , San Luis Obispo in Ornamental Horticulture.
Barret Walker - Editor In Chief
Mr. Waller started two decades ago as a medical writer and community relations coordinator for St. John Medical Center. His career spans positions as public relations director for Oklahoma Special Olympics, as a public relations account manager at advertising firm Littlefield, Inc. and most recently as President of Waller & Company PR. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. He is the author of New Feet for Old, a children's book, published by Macmillan in 1992 and Eeney Meney Miney Mail, set for publication by Hyperion/Disney in fall of 2008.
